▍ Working principle ↴
Principle of dielectric loss tester:Under the action of AC voltage, the dielectric consumes some electrical energy, which will be converted into thermal energy and result in losses. This type of energy loss is called dielectric loss. When an alternating voltage is applied to a dielectric, the voltage and current in the dielectric form a phase angle difference of. The residual angle of. theta. is called the dielectric loss angle, and the tangent of. delta. is called the dielectric loss angle tangent. The TG δ value is a parameter used to measure the dielectric loss. The instrument measurement circuit includes a standard circuit (Cn) and a test circuit (Cx), as shown in Figure 2-1. The standard circuit consists of a built-in high stability standard capacitor and a measurement circuit, while the test circuit consists of the test sample and the measurement circuit. The measurement line consists of a sampling resistor, a preamplifier, and an A/D converter. By measuring the amplitude and phase difference of the standard circuit current and the tested circuit current through the measurement circuit, the capacitance value and dielectric loss tangent value of the test sample are obtained through vector operation using a digital real-time acquisition method by a digital signal processor. The instrument has adopted anti-interference measures internally to ensure accurate measurement under external electric field interference.
▍ Precautions for use ↴
1. The automatic dielectric loss tester with different frequencies can only be used on equipment that has been powered off, and other equipment may not be powered off;
2. The instrument comes with a boost device, so attention should be paid to the insulation of the high-voltage leads and personnel safety;
3. The instrument should be reliably grounded;
4. Before using a fully automatic anti-interference dielectric loss tester to test equipment, insulation testing should be performed on the equipment first;
5. Determine the voltage withstand level of the equipment, correctly select the instrument boost gear to prevent breakdown of the equipment and damage to the instrument;
6. The dedicated high-voltage cable equipped with the dielectric loss tester has passed the factory inspection, but it still needs to be kept away from the human body during measurement;
7. The input voltage is AC220V ± 10%, and exceeding the range may affect the testing accuracy; The maximum input voltage is AC264V, exceeding this value will cause long-term damage, and the manufacturer will not provide warranty for this;
8. The printer may experience paper jams during transportation due to loose roll paper. In this case, simply remove the roll paper, wrap it tightly, and reinstall it;
9. Instruments should be protected from moisture and severe vibrations;
10. When supplying power to the generator, the output neutral wire should be grounded, otherwise it will indicate a grounding error.
